En route [along the way]

55'. 'En route' basically means 'on the road.' The video is a metaphor for the journey of life, comes to representations of movements, places and situations that cross and that can be made and perceived in different ways. To view in a mobile phone.

54'. City views marking certain times of day and who will alternate with different speeds simulating a slow awakening after the frenetic movement of the day and back again to a slow sequence to emphasize the end of the day and therefore the video.
Born in Campinas, 1968. Lives and works in Campinas. Graduated in Fine Arts from State University of Campinas, Master of Arts (1997) and Doctor of Education in the Arts (2005) by Unicamp. Professor of Visual Arts at the Catholic University of Campinas (PUC-Campinas). Awarded in 2007 in the 62 ˚ Salão Paranaense of Contemporary Art, award in 39 ˚ Contemporary Art Exhibition of Piracicaba and honorable mention in 7 ˚ Salão de Artes Visuais in Guarulhos. Collective and individual exhibitions in Sao Paulo, Campinas, Curitiba, Ribeirão Preto, Salvador, Recife, Jataí, Belém, United States, Belgium, Spain, Germany. Selected in 2008 for the Exhibition Program in Centro Cultural São Paulo and for the Exhibition Program in Museum of Art of Ribeirao Preto. In 2009 participates in the Competition Presentation Vivo arte.mov - 4 ˚ International Festival of Art in Mobile Media. In 2011 participates in the 8 Bienale Internationale de Gravure Contemporaine à Liège, Belgium and artistic residence in Canada (Atelier Presse Papier, Trois-Rivère, Quebec). Has works in collections públics in Brazil and Spain. Since 2004 conducts research on media graphics, photography and video.
